Samsung has released a new feature for the cameras of its mobile devices by adding Quick Shutter Tap. The idea is that you can take pictures the moment

Samsung has released a new feature for the cameras of its mobile devices by adding Quick Shutter Tap. The idea is that you can take pictures the moment your finger touches the button, rather than the moment it leaves the screen. This way, no user will miss a moment in the milliseconds between two moments.

However, despite the positive idea, the addition of the feature did not work as expected and the company admits that the app available on its mobile phones is not working as it should.

We took it out of the box and went to Floripa to test the cell phone cameras.

This situation is further complicated by the fact that the Camera Assistant app, which uses this feature, is not available for most of the company’s smartphones. Even some of the latest models are also not compatible with it. That is, nothing guarantees that you and millions contemplate the coming of improvement.

If you are one of those who has a compatible mobile phone, it is very easy to access the feature after the update. Just open it and Quick Shutter Tap will be disabled among the first options of the app. Then just click on the icon to select a qualification and enjoy the new camera speed of your device. At least it’s simple and effective.

Photographers complain about Samsung

Even though Samsung added this feature with the best of intentions, many complain about the compatibility issue and are forced to enable this feature in the app. One of the biggest criticisms is the fact that Quick Shutter Tap is not part of the already working features given the improvement it brings in terms of speed. As a comparison, some cite that something similar has already been done with the video recording mode in the One UI 4 update on Android 12.

Despite the complaints, Samsung has not officially commented on this feature or the next improvements coming to its mobile phone cameras. It’s understandable that they’re trying to fix their flaws little by little, but it’s only a matter of time before the public takes over social media and demands a simple feature to take a good picture with devices.
