A sony is about to launch a new model of his series Xperia 5V, according to a new listing on Geekbench. The device is speculated to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is not entirely new. However, the listing reveals even more interesting information: Sony is preparing a variant with an incredible 16 GB of RAM.

Sony follows the tradition of keeping its compact Xperia models with the same configuration as the full size models, including the chipset, memory, storage and camera array.

Possibly called the Xperia 5 V, the new device will feature the powerful Kalama motherboard found in other flagship smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro, according to the Geekbench benchmark list.
