OnePlus is exhibiting a new OnePlus 11 Concept mobile phone at MWC 2023 created as a proof of concept on its flagship. And it is as we expected; a special version that offers some features of the regular version but adds a active cooling system and lighting it will not go unnoticed.

The manufacturer revealed the key to this project, which, like other prototypes, is being developed as a design innovation and engineering sample, but with no guarantee that it will reach the market. The crux of the matter is what the manufacturer calls Activate CryoFluxa new cooling method designed to reduce the temperature of the terminal and achieve excellent performance in some tasks.

The system basically works like PC liquid cooling system. It has two ceramic piezoelectric micro-pumps, which OnePlus says are so small that they do not significantly increase the weight of the mobile, and from there the blue coolant is pumped, which can be seen on the transparent back redesigned for the occasion, which eliminates the glass cover of the original mobile.

These “an icy blue tube that runs the length of the back of the phone, almost like it has its own line of blood vessels”as described by the manufacturer, the blue LED lighting is in a wave shape that extends to the frame of the main camera system.

OnePlus says that this system will reduce the temperature by a little more than 2 degrees and reach increase game performance by 3 or 4 FPS. Apart from that, the aesthetics are impressive, different and should be appreciated among such similar devices and with so few innovations.

In the rest, the cameras are the same as the standard OnePlus 11 with a triple configuration (50MP + 32MP + 48MP), as well as the screen, high-resolution AMOLED and 6.7 inches of the OnePlus 11. The main hardware, with SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm in the front and up to 16 GB of RAM.

It is not known whether this “concept”, which the brand has already developed for previous series such as the OnePlus 8T Concept, will make it to production, although we assume that at least the Active CryoFlux cooling technology can be used in future mobiles.
