Aerotaxi from Autoflight breaks flight distance record

Prosperity I, the fourth generation air taxi prototype of Chinese Autoflight company, broke the flight range record among electric vehicles with vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL).

This was reported by New Atlas, Ukrinform reports.

As mentioned, the Prosperity I prototype was able to cover a distance of 250.64 km on a single charge.

The previous record was broken by Joby Aviation in 2021 (almost 249 km).

Welfare I has significantly thicker wings. Its cabin is also noticeably larger than previous versions and potentially seats five.

Autoflight President Omer Bar-Yohai said that the company’s goal is EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) certification.

As Ukrinform reported, in February last year, the Chinese company Autoflight demonstrated the autonomous flight of Prosperity I aerotaxi with vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL).
