This type of scam applies only to users of gadgets with the Android operating system, since to receive a cash reward you need to download a special program designed just for him.

To attract the attention of potential victims, attackers were helped by a time-tested approach – promoting a win-win online lottery. At the same time, for a more believable appearance, the fake site was designed using the logos of popular brands from completely different product manufacturers.

After the user came to the site of the scammers, he was asked to conduct a short survey, in which he indicated the most frequently used messengers. An obligatory condition for choosing a “lottery ticket” and receiving a prize is to send the site to your friends and acquaintances.

Those who completed all the tasks went to the page with the announcement that the award application was accepted. Here you had to download a special app to get “gifts and extra bonuses”. The countdown form on the site helped encourage faster action.
