Apple has announced the launch of its iPhone Self-Service Repair Program, which it announced last year.
The program will allow iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE users to perform certain repairs at home. Initially, the program is available for the United States and a European launch is planned for late 2022.
In its new self-repair shop, Apple offers original components and tools, as well as repair manuals.
More than 200 individual spare parts and tools are available for customers in the shop. For the first time, the store only offers gadgets for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, as well as the iPhone SE third-generation lines.
Apple promises to expand the store’s range of tools, manuals and parts for Macs with the Apple chip later this year.
