American electronics manufacturer Westinghouse introduced Westinghouse Pi and Quantum TV series in India. New smart TVs come in different sizes and screen options. Includes Pi 24” HD, 40” FHD and Quantum Series 55” 4K UHD TVs. American consumer electronics company Westinghouse is entering the Indian market with these new offerings. Westinghouse has a rich history of nearly 130 years.
Westinghouse Pi and Quantum TVs are available in India in three sizes. While the Pi series is offered in 24″ and 40″ options, the Quantum series is offered as a 55″ model. While the 24-inch model of the Pi series has an HD display, the 40-inch model has a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Both models are equipped with the Linux operating system and 512 MB of RAM. Also, both Pi TVs have 4GB of RAM, HDMI and USB ports. Subtype 2 speakers are found on two Westinghouse Pi series TVs with 20W and 30W output power respectively.
Coaxial digital audio output and digital noise filter combine with the A35x4 processor with up to 300 nits brightness. The TVs are also Smart HD Ready with a variety of games and apps available through the Google PlayStore.
Westinghouse TV Quantum 55” 4K UHD has a frameless design with a DLED display that delivers 4K Ultra HD. The Premium TV has a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, and the main screen’s digital noise filter helps eliminate distractions. The TV is equipped with an A35x4 processor and an IPS panel. It has 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM. The TV has three HDMI ports and two USB ports.
The Westinghouse TV Pi 24” HD model costs Rs. 6,999 (~$86), while the 40-inch FHD Pi series TV costs Rs. 13,499 (~$165). The premium Westinghouse Quantum 55” UHD TV will retail in the subcontinent from Rs. 29,999 (~$367). The TVs will be available on Amazon India from March 8, 2023.
