After being bought by businessman Elon Musk, the Twitter social network virtually stopped the fight against Russian propaganda.
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the BBC.
After Musk’s arrival, thousands of employees left the company. Currently, there is hardly anyone left to moderate the content.
“A few key experts dealing with certain regions with alleged threat issues, from Russia to China, have left the team,” said an anonymous former employee of the company.
Former and current Twitter employees reported that in recent months the social network has seen a marked increase in posts containing offensive speech, incitement to hatred, incitement to sex crimes, political propaganda and manipulation.
As the agency previously reported, Twitter owner, billionaire Elon Musk, to appoint his successor to the position of CEO of the company by the end of 2023but first it needs to “stabilize” the social network.
