AMD will give away The Last of Us Part I with its Radeon RX 6000 and 7000 and this will reveal an important secret

The Last of Us Part I in the PC version is one of the most anticipated games of the moment, and it is understandable, since it is the debut of one of the most important PlayStation exclusives. Game originally released on PS3 and became, without a doubt, the “golden closure” of the console’s life cycle.

Later, a remastered version was released on PS4 and we recently saw the release of The Last of Us Part I on PS5, the part that is about to a remake of the originalan important update on a technical level that generally brings it closer to what we saw in The Last of Us Part II.

Thanks to a recent leak, we were able to find out that AMD is planning to launch an interesting promotion, as it will include The Last of Us Part I free with purchase of Radeon RX 6000 and Radeon RX 7900, provided we make said purchase at a merchant associated with the promotion.

The list of graphics cards included in the promotion is so extensive that covers everything AMD has on the market right nowfrom Radeon RX 6400 to Radeon RX 7900 XTX and that leaves us with the very important fact related to the requirements of this game that it will be available enough to run on Radeon RX 6400.

The Last of Us Part I will work with Radeon RX 6400

And thanks to this, the requirements estimate that we offered you a few days ago becomes much more powerful and is supported by an official source. Radeon RX 6400 is equivalent to GeForce GTX 1650 or Radeon RX 470which means it’s about 33% slower than the 6GB GeForce GTX 1060 and 36% slower than the 8GB Radeon RX 580, which are the two graphics cards we put in the recommended requirements.

On the other hand, this also indicates that it will be a fairly accessible game in its compatible version and that it will work smoothly even on quite old and undersized computers. For your further reference, I confirm this Radeon RX 6400 is 16% slower than NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970.

This game is released on PC March 28 and its price will be 59.99 euros in its standard version. It can be purchased on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
