NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina safely landed aboard the SpaceX Dragon Endurance in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Tampa, Florida, at 9:02 am. Evacuation ship crews “Shannon”, including the two speedboats, are now busy securing the Dragon and the recovery spacecraft. The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft left the front port of the International Space Station’s Harmony module at 02:20 on March 11. It completed its orbital exit as expected about 40 minutes before landing. Then, about four minutes before landing, the trailing parachutes opened at about 18,000 feet and Dragon was going at about 350 miles per hour. Less than a minute later, the main parachutes opened at about 6,000 feet and the spacecraft was moving at about 119 miles per hour.
