Ana Fernanda Basaldua Ruiz, a 21-year-old Mexican soldier, was found dead. on Monday at a military base in Fort Hood, Texas, where he has been for the past 15 months, KWTX reports.
Basaldua was a sapper with the 1st Cavalry Division and the cause of her death is still being investigated, according to information provided by the military base where soldier Vanessa Guillen was reported missing and later found dead in 2020.
The Army indicated that they notified the soldier’s parents of the death and provided psychological support resources to the family and colleagues who served with Basaldua in the barracks.
“We are deeply saddened irreparable loss of a soldier and our condolences go out to his father, mother and brother,” the army said in a statement under the heading of Commander Patrick Sullivan.
Private Basaldua, native of Mexico and naturalized in the USA, I was going to serve three years in the army and told his parents that he was the victim of sexual harassment.

The death of another soldier in the same military town reminds us of the case with Guillen, beaten to death by a colleague who carried away her body. and dismembered it before burying it in a remote place.
