It can carry up to 3.6 kg of cargo in a radius of 16 kilometers at a total height of 91 meters and is capable of delivering a package to a place as small as a table or threshold.
The company added that the P2 Zip can fly 10 miles in ten minutes, so the company delivers about seven times faster than any typical courier service.
It was noted that Platform 2 will be able to fly longer distances, carrying up to 2.3 kg of cargo within a radius of 96 km, but in this case it will need more space for takeoff and landing.
Additionally, Zipline’s new P2 Zip can be charged autonomously at a streetlight-like charging station with a “arm” and a large disc attached to that “arm”.
