Because Elon Musk is in charge, Twitter has become the best combination of a social network and reality show when he saw The mogul’s leadership has left the community divided and a few indifferent, but the latest measure he announced should be an improvement, at least for those who subscribe to Twitter Blue.
The last measure that Elon Musk announced for Twitter is to improve the functioning of feedback on the social network. Some interpret this as another step in the promotion and encouragement of Twitter Blue, but what the owner literally said through his official account is as follows:
Twitter will prioritize responses in the coming weeks:
1. People you follow.
2. Verified accounts.
3. Unverified accounts.Verified accounts are 1000 times more difficult for armies of bots and trolls to manipulate.
There is great wisdom in the old adage “you get what you pay for”.

Leaving aside how the mechanism will work when implemented, Twitter does a somewhat haphazard ecosystem where spambots and scammers run rampant, at least in relative terms, according to their hearts. In addition to the inconvenience they cause users, we also have to consider the damage they can cause, so putting some order in the replies can be a way to improve the experience that the social network offers, although we will see if these improvements end up being exclusive to Twitter Blue, which does not sound like unlikely, given the company’s latest moves.
For those who didn’t fully understand the list posted by Elon Musk, this is a a priority order in which users see replies from accounts they follow first, followed by accounts verified through Twitter Blue, and finally those that are not verifiedthat is, all the others.
While Musk wasn’t very specific, the phrase “you get what you pay for” suggests that the priority will only be available to Twitter Blue subscribers. If true, it would be a maneuver to revalue the subscription plan to get more users, especially when we see that ad revenue is down 40%, as we learned last January.
We’ll see how this response priority mechanism works when the push to shove comes, but it’s clear that Twitter needs to strengthen its subscription plan to gain independence and improve its revenue.
