THE FAMILY SYMPOSIUM EXPECTED TO OPEN BY PRESIDENT RECEP TAYYIP ERDOĞAN BEGINS.

Istanbul Family Foundation organizes the International Family Symposium with the main theme “Family in the Digital Age”. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is expected to deliver the opening address of the symposium to be held at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul.

Although it was only recently established, Istanbul Family Foundation uses this time efficiently and, after an intensive period of preparation, organizes the International Family Symposium with the main theme “Family in the digital age”. The symposium aims to discuss the problems, changes and innovations experienced by the family as discourse, consciousness and institution; aims to contribute to the future decision makers and produce the necessary information and thoughts about it.

OPENING SPEECH BY PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN

The program, in which expert academics from Turkey, the US, Indonesia, Canada, Egypt, France and Azerbaijan present papers, lasts two days. The opening speech of the symposium, which will consist of a total of five sessions, is expected to be delivered by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Istanbul Family Foundation aims to create a family-friendly ecosystem, contribute to create a climate that encourages family building and protection, adds value, encourages the extended family, conducts training and awareness activities to enhance communication and interaction within the family between families and producing family-oriented solutions to social problems. It aims to support scientific studies on family and family.

The first international family symposium organized by the Istanbul Family Foundation will be held on May 14-15 at the Istanbul Haliç Congress Center with the participation of many experts in their fields. The I. International Family Symposium, which discusses the relationships between “Family Policies, Migration, Media, Gender Debates and Religion” and the concept of the family, is organized under the title “Family in the Digital Age”. Researchers, academics, writers from the disciplines of Sociology, Philosophy, Political Science, International Relations, Theology, Women’s and Family Sciences and many people concerned with family issues will contribute to the symposium.
