What does the Mate X3 offer?

Huawei’s new foldable model features a slimmer design, weighing just 239 grams and 5.3mm thick when folded. Which makes it lighter than its competitor, Samsung Z-fold 4which weighs around 263 grams and is very close to the top of the Samsung range. Galaxy S23 Ultrawhich weighs 234 grams.

The great thing about this model is that it has an IPX8 rating, which makes it waterproof. This point is interesting because folding devices with such protection are rare, and only Samsung smartphones with this technology can be included in the list.

Another design solution involves the Mate X3’s hinge, which is a free-stop, allowing it to open at any point between closed and fully open. At the same time, in Flex mode, the camera, multimedia and video calls are supported with a partially open smartphone.

In terms of cameras, on the back we have a 50MP main sensor with OIS (RYYB color filter), a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera with macro support and a 12MP periscope camera with 5x zoom, as well as an 8MP selfie camera. -Camera back and front.

Announced for the Chinese market, there is no information on the availability of the Huawei Mate X3 yet. The prices of the models sold in China at the moment are: 12 GB / 256 GB for 10,000 reais; 12 GB/512 GB for BRL 10,780; 12 GB/1 TB (Collector’s Edition) for BRL 12,340.
