OnePlus TV Y1S was launched in India in February last year. The TV was available in two sizes, 32 inches and 43 inches. Now, the brand is reportedly gearing up to launch a new 40-inch size option for its affordable TV in the Indian market. It is expected to be in the same price range as the other two variants and have Full HD+ resolution.

Referring to reporter Ishan Agarwal, Pricebaba claims that OnePlus is preparing a new 40-inch version of the Y1S TV for India. The new TV is said to be launching in the country soon, but no exact launch date has been announced. The Chinese company has not released any official information yet, so details about the TV are very limited so far.

The 32-inch and 43-inch variants of the OnePlus TV Y1S are available in India for Rs 14,499 and Rs 23,999 respectively. The new size variant will be right in the middle with an expected price tag of around Rs 18,000. Perhaps this is an attractive price point and will likely attract many Indian buyers looking to buy a OnePlus TV.

Dimensional versions of the TV have technical specifications with almost the same resolution. We can expect the new 40-inch variant to have similar hardware. It can support Full HD+ resolution and get a pair of speakers with 20W output power and Dolby Atmos support. But unlike the 32-inch and 43-inch models, the TV can run Android TV 12, the latest version of the Android TV operating system.

Connectivity options on the 40-inch Y1S may include OnePlus Connect 2.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 1 x RF, 1 x AV, 1 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x HDMI 2.0 with ARC, 1 x RJ45 and 1 x digital audio output. It must have Google Chromecast built-in and support Google Assistant and Alexa.
