Nokia, one of the top technology companies, has joined the private law regime Diya.City.
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
As Fedorov noted, the residence will provide the company with the best legal and tax conditions, tools to attract venture capital investments and protection of intellectual property rights, as well as the opportunity to more actively develop and contribute to the development of the digital economy in Ukraine. .
He reminded that the Ministry of Digital Affairs team cooperated with Nokia in the field of internet and communication development. Previously, the company has delivered over five thousand routers to Ukrainian schools so that children can continue their education in shelters during airstrikes.
“I am glad that the tech giants have chosen our place. We welcome new residents,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
As reported by Ukrinform, the private law regime Diya.City has been operating in Ukraine since February 2022. Over a year, more than 450 companies participated and paid a total of nearly $100 million in taxes.
