What’s upThe world’s most popular instant messaging service has released an updated version of its Windows app that people all over the world use every day. This version promises a particularly new and improved experience. So much so that the updated version of the application is now faster and similar to the WhatsApp people use on their mobile phones.
According to the parent company, the updated version is now available for free download. Meta now loads faster and has an “interface similar to the mobile version of the app”. In this way, users will not only feel more comfortable with the Windows application, but will also be able to find their favorite features.
A post on the meta blog confirms that the updated version of the app supports video calling up to eight people, while WhatsApp now supports voice calling up to 32 people.
Additionally, WhatsApp also plans to increase these limits over time so those who have a ton of friends or use WhatsApp to search for work can look forward to even larger groups in the future.
