Samsung installs world’s largest digital signage in New York

A Samsung announced the completion of the installation of the largest and brightest screen in the world in City Field Stadium in NYC.

The giant display will serve as a scoreboard as well as show the game and advertisements in the stadium owned by New York Mets.

To the delight of baseball fans, the partnership between Samsung and the New York Mets will deliver an impressive digital experience with the world’s largest display that will run at full capacity in the new baseball season. During the event’What’s New at Citi Field by the MetsOn March 23, fans were able to check out the new dual digital scoreboard.

This giant display consists of a 17,400 square foot LED screen at the front and a 6,900 square foot LED screen at the back. Samsung has already installed over 29,800 square feet of LEDs in the stadium since fall 2022. Thanks to new screens installed as a result of a partnership between the South Korean company and the New York Mets, the total number of pixels at Citi Field has increased. up to 40 million LED dots. All information, score, games and statistics will be displayed on this screen in crisp 4K resolution.

Another use of these superscreens is, of course, advertising. The rear screen can be seen from the nearby motorway, which is a high traffic area and so will be used for advertising on an ongoing basis, generating revenue from this new digital opportunity.
