Apple forced to sell iPhone with charger in Brazil
Galaxy S22 models released on or after March 29, 2023 will now include a charger in the box. The same will be done with the Galaxy S21 FE from the beginning of April. Anyone who purchases one of the models without a charger will be able to redeem the accessory for free through the Samsung For You website.
Samsung listens to Procon
The South Korean company has started to include a charger with all cell phones released since August 2022. For example, the entire Galaxy S23 line puts the accessory in the box.
The idea of removing the charger from the box under the pretext of reducing “greenhouse gas emissions” originated with Apple. Samsung soon followed suit, to the dismay of consumers around the world.
