British student cancels parking ticket with ChatGPT!

In recent months, we have seen artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT being used for many different purposes. These chatbots have now come to the aid of a student. This 22 year old person from UK named Millie Houlton, using ChatGPT managed to cancel a received parking ticket.

According to the BBC report, Houlton, who lives in the city of York, parked his car on his own street. However, despite having a permit, he received a faulty £60 parking ticket. The 22-year-old student then turned to the popular chatbot to appeal the sentence.

According to Houltan, ChatGPT has responded very well to the revocation of the penalty.

Houlton, who said he didn’t have time to respond to the sentence, told ChatGPT: “Please help me write a letter to the city council, they gave me a parking ticket” He asked for help with his statements and details of the incident. Chat bot too with the reasons why the punishment is not justified gave an explanatory answer. Then the authorities has withdrawn the fine.

It can be seen that the ChatGPT answer, written by Houltan, touched on many important points in great detail, such as that he is allowed to park behind his house and that the yellow line that is forbidden to cross is not visible.

Houlton stated that while ChatGPT’s answer was great, it explained the situation perfectly:I’ve included all the details of the punishment, such as where, when and why it was wrong. This in a few minutes perfectly formed and personalized I have the answer.”

Artificial intelligence-enabled chatbots like ChatGPT, which have reached millions of users, are known for giving realistic answers. They have many outstanding talents such as writing poetry, writing articles and even passing exams. Of course, it should be added that these tools can sometimes give wrong and meaningless answers that seem plausible.
