This Thursday (06) seagate launched new models NVMe SSDs based on the main characters of the series star Wars. New devices from the brand have front panels with interchangeable heatsinks and are made in the design of lightsabers. Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker This Obi-Wan Kenobiunder license from Lucasfilm.

SSD lineup Lightsaber Collection Special Edition provide users with customizable RGB LED lighting that lights up and displays colors Jedi or sith. Under the skin, Seagate’s new SSDs boast the speed of a high-performance PCIe Gen 4 model, available in a variety of capacities.

Specifications for the new Seagate Star Wars SSDs

According to Seagate, a customizable heatsink can reduce device heat and maintain peak performance for longer. Both the front panel and heatsink were designed by EKWB.

In technical aspects, FireCuda have sequential read speeds up to 7300 MB/s, available in 1 TB and 2 TB capacities, and reliability ratings up to 5100 TBW.

Lightsaber Special Edition FireCuda PCIE Gen4 NVMe SSD Collection now available for international purchase via $184.99 in 1 TB version and $289.99 2 TB model. Seagate has not said whether it intends to sell the model in the domestic market.
