Google Bard updates promise more user experience and show themes…

As you can see in the GIF below, you’ll notice some minor changes to the interface, such as rounded buttons (and a rounded search bar) as well as some blue accents throughout. There have also been some minor changes to the main post view, compose setting, new topic button, and discussion panel in private messages and spaces.

Last week, Google also announced a new chat feature that allows space managers to create custom ad placements, similar to those that already exist on Slack. This is a handy way to keep all team members on the same page, as dedicated announcement space means you don’t have to scroll through multiple conversations to find an important update.

However, the design update does not bring unexpected changes. When users notice that Google Chat looks a little different after the release of the new version over the next few weeks, they will at least understand why.

Google will automatically archive unused apps on Android

Android is working on a new feature that promises to help users free up space on their phone without having to completely uninstall apps. A feature called “self-archiving” will allow users to free up to 60% of the space occupied by an app without having to delete presence or user data from the device.

According to the company, many users are deleting apps to free up space on their devices. However, this solution is not always the best solution, as it can lead to the loss of important data and force the user to reinstall the application later if they need to use it again.

Automatic archiving will remove some of the least used apps from the device, freeing up space without deleting app presence or user data. When the user wants to go back to using the app, they just need to download it again and pick up where they left off.
