ChatGPT overtakes Bing to become the fourth most popular search engine in…
Google continues to be the most popular search platform among users.
There are three main Bing features in SwiftKey: chat, beep, and search. With the chat feature, you can access the new Bing from anywhere for a deeper search. The company explains that the feature can be useful for a variety of things, such as finding a clever pun to reply to a message, or quickly finding the dessert that goes with a certain dish when planning a party with friends on your mobile phone.

The Tone feature was created to make communication more efficient by using artificial intelligence to adjust the text to suit each situation. This feature can be useful when you need to write a formal email or you are learning a new language and need help choosing words. You can use this feature to make your sentences more professional, casual, polite, or short enough for social media posts.

With the search function, you can quickly search the web directly from your keyboard, eliminating the need to switch between applications. The company notes that the resource can be used during a conversation with a friend, for example, when you need to quickly find something.
Microsoft wants to embed Bing in all its products
The new SwiftKey features are available in all markets where the new Bing is available. Now, anyone can use the search feature, but to access Tone and Chat, users need to sign into their approved Microsoft account to access the new Bing.
The update is available now, and once you receive it, you will see the Bing icon above your keyboard. From there, you can click on exactly the feature you want to use: chat, beep, or search.
Continuation after commercial
It’s worth noting that Microsoft planned to shut down SwiftKey on iOS last year, but later decided not to. The company is likely hoping to gain the attention and popularity of SwiftKey by integrating the new Bing into the product.
The company also announced the expansion of access to Bing in Skype group chats. Microsoft integrated Bing into Skype in February this year in beta. Now all it takes is one member with beta access and the whole group can chat with Bing.
“This means that as a group, you can use the new Bing from the Skype app just like you would use the new Bing on desktop; you can use it, for example, to resolve disputes, help plan a group trip, or find a restaurant where everyone can meet in person.“, the company wrote on its blog.
“To get started, search for “Bing in Skype” in your Skype contacts and add them to a group chat just like any other contact. Just like on desktop, new Bing Chat responses on the Skype app that cite facts are cited with web links to sources so you can check where the information is coming from.“, reported.
In addition, Microsoft announced that Bing is now available through Microsoft Start, a personalized way to read company news.
