Nexuzhealth pro is part of Nexuzhealth’s centralized electronic health record (EHR).
With the new software for home nurses, Cegeka wants to make the collaboration between home nurses, general practitioners and hospitals easier and more efficient. The central file leads to a more complete picture of the patient data and thus offers opportunities to improve the quality of care.
Thanks to some recent agreements with partners, almost 30 percent of Flemish caregivers will work at home with Nexuzhealth pro. Nearly 2,200 home nurses will have started this this year.
Thanks to nexuzhealth pro for outpatient caregivers, caregivers are always informed about the latest patient information, can communicate with other service providers and receive administrative support. For example, diagnoses by the family doctor or adjustments to the medication plan are immediately visible to the family nurse.
Laboratory results or wound care reports can also be easily exchanged. When a nurse takes the patient’s parameters or makes a pain registration, this data can also be immediately followed up by the family doctor.
The software communicates seamlessly with all types of eHealth services such as the Hubs, Vitalink, eHealthBox or MyCareNet. Nexuzhealth pro is a cloud application, so caregivers can access all information at home via web browser or mobile app.
Today, more than 20 percent of Belgian healthcare facilities and care providers already work with the EPD. Nexuzhealth was born in 2016 in a collaboration between UZ Leuven and Cegeka.
