Oracle is introducing several AI and automation-based innovations to its Oracle Fusion Cloud Application Suite aimed at greater efficiencies and improved supply chain planning.
Oracle introduces new features in the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite. These are intended to help customers to optimize the management of their supply chain. New capabilities include new planning, consumption-based pricing, and rebate management capabilities in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing (SCM), and improved Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes in Oracle Fusion Applications.
Connectedness trumps
Oracle notes that many organizations today struggle with a variety of disparate systems. Insights are lost and business processes do not run efficiently. An integrated platform offers comfort and allows you to apply AI and machine learning to all relevant processes and parameters. The technology can thus find optimizations and take care of automations.
With this in mind, Oracle is rolling out three major innovations in its Oracle Fusion Applications Suite.
- New lead time estimations with AI in Oracle Supply Chain Planning: Helps customers improve the accuracy of estimated delivery times by using machine learning to apply corrections based on actual performance. The new capability, integrated with Oracle Supply Chain Planning’s Planning Advisor, can improve supply chain planning efficiency and results by identifying trends and variances in lead times and their potential impact, and proposing actions, prioritizing actions and solutions.
- Improved QTC (Quote-to-Cash) process in Oracle Fusion applications: Enables customers to centralize orchestration of subscriptions and usage classifications, meet accounting needs, improve order management, reduce costs and time-to-market, and provide a seamless customer experience. The integrated solution, which combines subscription management, pricing and quote configuration, order management and finance, enables customers to more efficiently quote orders, capture and fulfill orders, and report sales.
- New rebate management capabilities in Oracle Channel Revenue Management: Enables customers to streamline their rebate programs, improve the accuracy of their rebate accounting, and better understand program performance. Oracle Channel Revenue Management’s new capabilities automate the rebate management process, from rebate calculation to billing, improve payment data accuracy, reduce administrative costs, and speed up rebate offerings to customers.
