Earlier this week, Xiaomi introduced its most anticipated smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Apart from this phone, the company also announced a number of other products. Some of these devices are Xiaomi Smart Band 8 series and Xiaomi Pad 6. The company’s eighth-generation fitness tracker comes with an OLED panel, while its sixth-generation tablets are equipped with an LCD screen.
However, the supplier of these screens is the same. The seller in question officially announced this after the release of these products. According to this ITHomeTianma has officially announced that it is the OLED display supplier of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8. This round rectangular screen measures 1.62 inches.
The panel has 326 PPI and 60 Hz refresh rate. Thus, it is both sharp and smooth. The display supports a maximum brightness level of up to 600 nits, AOD (Always On Display) and comes with an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness.
Also, Tianma provides LCD panels for Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. For those who don’t know, Xiaomi is also getting panels from TCL CSOT for its latest tablets.
These tablets have the same screen. Its 11-inch screens offer 2880 x 1800 pixel resolution, 10-bit color depth, 309 PPI and 144 Hz refresh rate. This 16:10 panel supports up to 240Hz sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 550 nits peak brightness, stylus input, HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 and Xiaomi Pad 6 series are expected to launch outside of mainland China in the coming weeks.
