An 8-year-old girl named Adityashree died when her mobile phone exploded in her hand. The incident occurred on April 24 at 22:30 local time in Thiruvilvamala in Thrissur, Kerala state of India. According to experts, it is about the Redmi Note 5 Pro device, which does not have a charge in the event of an accident.

Instead, the phone reportedly overheated, causing an explosion that was fatal to the young girl. The forensic team shared their preliminary findings with local police and collected debris from the scene for further investigation. According to police, Adityashree was seriously injured in the face in the blast, which resulted in the fingers on her right hand snapped and her palm broken.

The young girl was a third year student at Christ New Life School in Thiruvilvamalai. His death shocked and saddened the local population. Ashok Kumar, who is also a member of Block Panchayat, called for a thorough investigation into the incident.
