President of the United States Joe Biden confirmed on Tuesday his candidacy for re-election in 2024.

Through a Twitter video, Biden vowed to defend American freedoms from “extremists” associated with former President Donald Trump whom he defeated in the 2020 election and who he may face again in this election.

“Let’s finish this job,” he said.

Following Biden’s announcement, former President Barack Obama expressed his support for Biden through a tweet in which he emphasized that he was proud of his former vice president and the current administration.

“Proud of everything Joe Biden and his administration have accomplished over the past few years. It was delivered to the American people, and he will continue to do so after being re-electedObama wrote.

Hillary Clinton also expressed support for the formula between Joe Biden and Kamala Harris by 2024.

In 2016, Clinton ran against Trump for President of the United States, but was defeated by the Republicans.
