Are you a Telegram user and also use the voice messaging feature all the time? Then you may be interested in the possibility of… naturalizing this action, that would be the word, although depending on how you like to do things, it may seem like a more agile and even easier way.

Of course, you will be interested or not, if you don’t already know, something that can happen if you are not one to dive into the many configuration options that Telegram has, specifically the mobile application. This option is also disabled by default, so anything can be done.

But let’s start from the beginning: Sending voice messages on Telegram is as easy as holding down the microphone button in the conversation bar. By the way, how is it done in WhatsApp. Additionally, you can press and swipe up to continue recording without holding the button, or swipe left to cancel the message.

However, there is another more intuitive or, as I mentioned above, more natural way to send audio messages on Telegram: pick up the phone and hold it to your ear as if you were talking on the phone. Once you do this, Telegram will automatically start recording the audio message.

Before you can record audio messages in this way, yes, you will need to activate the corresponding option found in: «Settings > Chats > Media and sound > Pick up and talk«. And that’s it, you can “record voice messages by holding the phone to your ear”.

You can try it with your private area (“Saved messages”), you will see how when you pick up the phone and bring it to your ear, the screen turns off as if you were starting a normal phone conversation. The only thing is that once you finish the message, you will have to press the send button (this is probably done this way to avoid sending the message by mistake).
