ABOUT iphone 15 arrives in the second quarter of this year, and according to speculation on the networks, it will receive many new features. But apparently one of them will be only for devices in the future.

According to recent rumors, the tactile buttons that will appear in the iPhone 15 lineup will only appear in its successor, the iPhone 16.

Tactile buttons only on future Apple devices

According to Mark Gurman of Bloombergtactile buttons that were supposed to appear with the iPhone 15 series only appeared on the flagship product apple since 2024, i.e. on iPhone 16 devices.

Rumors coming from various sources and analysts claim that the company may use this technology in its devices later this year and would like to introduce the iPhone 15 line with this innovation. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple will delay the launch of these buttons for the iPhone 16 Pro due to “unresolved technical issues prior to mass production.” And now Gurman comes forward as a second credible source, saying the company is “hesitant” about the feature due to cost and application complexity, but he also thinks the technology will likely be included in Pro models in 2024.

In addition to tactile buttons, other implementations could potentially be implemented on the iPhone 16 Pro: a smaller dynamic island and new Face ID technology under the display. But there’s still no way to officially nail anything, although based on what’s been revealed and verified, a small timetable of implementations that will be made in future iPhone models can be worked out:

• 2023: Cutting pills on the screen
• 2024: Cutting pills on the screen
• 2025: Face ID under dash + hole
• 2026: Face ID under dash + hole
• 2027: Face ID under dash + under dash camera

There is still a lot of ground to launch these implementations, but we will soon see some news with features coming with the iPhone 15, as well as what Apple will leave for later.
