Of course, such weather conscience has largely contributed to the high turnout of the car festival. Moreover, there was really something to see here. After all, the very concept of the event brought together the most diverse areas of automotive culture and technical sports in one project.
A particular intrigue of the current show was its location. All exhibition grounds reserved for it were organized in the open air in one of the most popular locations in Moscow – on the eastern “coast” of the rowing channel. It is clear that in such a scenario, God himself ordered the organizers of the action to organize demonstrations of water sports equipment. And, we must pay tribute to the organizer, they totally succeeded. In addition, demonstration races of Formula 2 racing boats took place as part of the festival, which of course provided additional entertainment.
Overall, however, the Auto Weekend festival was reminiscent of the once-popular, but now-forgotten Auto Exotica show. As well as on it, here among the exhibits one could see not only rare and bright retro cars, including military equipment, but also novelties of the modern automotive industry. In addition, visitors could get acquainted with Soviet and foreign classics of the automotive industry, sports cars and racing cars, as well as motorcycles, off-road vehicles and vehicles for road trips.
There were also original tuning copies of cars, which invariably aroused the increased interest of visitors. What, for example, is worth the modernized VAZ “nine”, equipped with a Honda engine, the power of which was “increased” to 450 horsepower. Of. At the same time, as claimed by the owner of the car, all these improvements are fully legalized.
However, in terms of energy, the mentioned VAZ version turned out to be far from the coolest. For example, drift fans crowded around the sporty Lexus of the famous racer Damir Idiatulin. Everyone wanted to look not only at the sports car, but also at its 7.6-liter engine with a breathtaking power of 755 “horses” …
In general, we can say with confidence that the organizers did not fail at all with the chosen concept of holding a “weekend” car festival. The variety of exhibits and equipment on display was so differentiated that it did not leave indifferent even the most experienced motorcycling fans. And so that the whole event does not look static, it was diluted with various dynamic “inserts”. They were organized in the form of presentations by leading journalists of automotive publications, famous racers, artists, as well as sports competitions and demonstration performances by wake surfers.
The partners of this exciting event did not lose either, as they had a great opportunity to showcase their products. For example, among the car owners who demonstrated their cars, Ruseff brand car cosmetics were in great demand.
