The Chinese continue to amaze us, the country’s authorities – to promise the unrealizable, and the traffic police – to skin hard: the results of the week

Recently, Voyah rolled out two more luxury electric trains, and Livan dealers revealed the ruble prices of the X3 Pro budget crossover. The Chinese are moving towards their goal: to conquer the Russian market. Yes, so sure that the National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI) even adjusted the annual forecast. What else will you remember this week? The traffic police counted all the traffic cameras, Vladimir Putin started car tourism, the Belarusians found parts suppliers for their first passenger car in the Samara region. For more details, see the video review of the AvtoVzglyad portal.

The premium Chinese brand Voyah released two new items at once on the Russian market this week. The electric version of the Dream minibus with a maximum range of 480 km was estimated at 10 million rubles. And the Passion sedan – 8.5 million for the junior modification, which can drive up to 480 km, and 10 million for the older one, which allows you to drive up to 600 km on a single charge. Expensive, rich. But who needs all this “green” luxury?

Much more interesting is the news that the Russian price tag got the Livan X3 Pro crossover. At the start of sales, it will cost 1.7 million, moreover, this is the price taking into account special offers: the price without it has not yet been published. As for the power units, the novelty is powered by a 103-horsepower engine with a variator. The equipment list includes a sunroof, keyless entry to the saloon, parking sensors, a rear view camera, cruise control and many other options.

It became clear last year, almost immediately after the start of the same events, that the Chinese will occupy an impressive share of our car market. But such activity was not expected even by experts who revised their forecast for new car sales for the 23rd year. Now NAPI is confident that Chinese brands will not sell 210,000, but almost 300,000 cars. By May 1, they have sold about 80,000 cars.

The Belarusians also plan to get involved – they are going to develop their own car, about which some details have recently appeared. For example, it was announced that the BelGee factory, where Geely crossovers are now assembled, will take over production of the car. And our Samara companies will provide spare parts to neighbors. According to Viktor Kudryashov, chairman of the regional government, the parties have already discussed possibilities for cooperation. True, what exactly they agreed on and whether they agreed at all, the official did not say.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to develop the concept of car tourism. Namely, outline a plan for preparing the appropriate infrastructure: in the first stage for traveling along the route from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. However, those responsible do not have much time – the draft must be approved by June 15.

And finally, the news that the traffic police revealed the total number of complexes that fine motorists on Russian roads. It turned out that there are now 27,000 cameras for automatic photo fixing of traffic violations in the country. Of these, 24,000 are stationary and 3,000 are mobile. The former have increased by 20% over the past year, the latter by 6% less. Another curious thing: each complex registers an average of almost 7,000 violations in 12 months.
