— FSUE NAMI closed a deal to acquire a 100% stake in Robert Bosch Samara LLC, based in the Samara region. Previously, the company was engaged in the production of steering systems, anti-lock braking system ABS and dynamic stabilization system ESP.
It also states that NAMI, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will be directly involved in restarting the factory’s production processes. The new owner plans to start production of anti-lock braking systems ABS and dynamic stabilization systems ESP from 2024. The aim is to reach design capacity in 2025. It is known that until recently 90% of the shares of Robert Bosch Samara LLC belonged to Robert Bosch LLC. Another 10% was controlled directly by the German Robert Bosch GmbH. The exact amount and terms of the transaction for the acquisition of the Bosch Samara plant by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI are not being reported. The registered capital of Robert Bosch Samara LLC is 1.8 billion rubles.
Recall that in Russia the production of ABS systems has recently started at another enterprise – the Kostroma plant “Itelma”.
