The fresh BMW 5 Series can independently accelerate and brake, convert and keep its distance. In addition, for maneuvers it is enough to look in the side mirror and the car will automatically cross the markings.
The power line is represented by petrol and diesel engines with four and six cylinders, as well as hybrids and fully electric versions.
In the initial phase of sales, the car will be offered with engines in the power range from 197 to 258 hp. Of. The transmission is an eight-speed automatic. Drive – front or full.
Later, the electric modification of the i5 M60 xDrive is expected to debut with an installation that produces 601 horsepower. Of. and 820 Nm of thrust, thanks to which the sedan accelerates from standstill to the first “hundred” in just 3.8 seconds.
Sales of new items will start in the fall of 2023. Prices will be announced later.
