Moskvich has a new CEO. They became Hans-Peter Moser. Dmitry Pronin, who previously held this position, moved to the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC MAZ Moskvich. Hans-Peter Moser is 67 years old. He was born in the German city of Laupheim.
— Hans-Peter has many years of experience in senior positions in large international and domestic manufacturing companies, where he has proven himself as a strong leader, able to achieve high financial and economic results, respond to the most difficult challenges and team to success lead by introducing flexible approaches, innovative solutions and structured and efficient management, – said in the official release of MAZ Moskvich JSC.
Mr. Moser is known to have led the project “Reengineering automotive production and creation of a promising family of KAMAZ vehicles” from 2013 to September 2022. His name is associated with the appearance on the market of trucks of the K5 family. Before working in the KamAZ structure, Moser was an employee of the German company Knorr-Bremse.
Judging by media publications, after leaving the KAMAZ project, Hans-Peter Moser became a co-owner of HEAT Motors. This company bought from KamAZ its share in the KamLitKZ enterprise, which builds factories in the Kazakh Kostanai for the production of cast parts for engines and final drive axles. The launch is expected in 2024-2025.
It was also reported that HEAT Motors owned 50% of the authorized capital of Volga Industrial Engines LLC, a joint engine construction company between KamAZ and China’s Weichai in the Yaroslavl region.
