The Minister of Transport of Crimea, Nikolay Lukashenko, wrote in his Telegram channel that from July 3 at 9 am, the traffic jam in front of the bridge reaches 8 kilometers and the waiting time for inspection is up to 4 hours. In the opposite direction, that is, towards the Krasnodar Territory, the traffic jam is not big at all: 0.5 kilometers and no more than 30 minutes.
Recall that on Sunday at 2 pm, a traffic jam of cars on the way to Crimea stretched to 8 kilometers. And on Saturday afternoon, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory announced a nine-kilometer traffic jam at the entrance to the Crimean bridge. By 9 p.m. on Sunday, it had been reduced to 7 kilometers and the waiting time had been reduced to 4.5 hours. The Crimean minister also said that by 10 p.m. last weekend, the length of the traffic jam had reached the 6-kilometre mark.
The authorities of the peninsula advise drivers traveling to Crimea to take into account the time it takes to pass the inspection at the entrance to the bridge when planning a trip.
Earlier, the Departmental Security Department of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation issued a statement that the traffic jam in front of the Crimean Bridge from the Krasnodar Territory was formed due to the increased flow of cars and “the transportation of a large amount of luggage subject to inspection is subjected.” In this regard, we must say that when after some time, after the end of the holiday, people drive back in cars in the same masses, they will wait for no less powerful traffic jams for crossing the side of the peninsula.
