Literally the day before, AVTOVAZ representatives reported that LADA Niva Legend had undergone improvements – Togliatti improved the sound insulation of the legendary SUV. Today it became known
AVTOVAZ has published new price lists for LADA Niva Legend, according to which the basic version of the “scoundrel” now costs 829,900 rubles, which is 8,000 more than before. As for the other three versions, dealers ask for Luxury 914,900 rubles, for Urban – 934,900, and for Black – 943,900, which exceeds the previous price by 42,000 “wooden”.
What exactly did the Volzhans do to improve sound insulation? The SUV was equipped with a molded one-piece carpet, other brushed material wheel arch covers were used. In addition, the “shumka” of the engine shield, the trim of the sills and “other interior elements” have been modernized, the press release reports.
AVTOVAZ claims that the modified cars passed a number of tests in different modes: the level of noise and vibration was measured at idle and full speed, on various types of asphalt pavement, on paving stones and off-road, including in areas with water barriers. These tests, as well as laboratory studies, confirmed the effectiveness of the new sound insulation and confirmed that it complies with regulations.
