Only three years have passed since the premiere of the current Dargo model, as the Dagou crossover is called in some export markets. However, the cheeky Chinese car, which struggles to look like an image and an article about a Land Rover (one shape of the steering wheel is worth something), has already received its first updates.
All details of the upcoming transformation are not yet available. But it is already clear that the package includes at least a facelift and an increase in power. The distinctive round headlights in the “Land Rover” square surround have not disappeared, but the grill has changed noticeably. The radiator grille has been changed from a trapezoidal to a rectangular one, the cross slats have become larger and furrowed, and the rear LED block now resembles a horizontally elongated letter P.
In addition, the manufacturer has increased the power of the two-liter turbo four, which is equipped with four-wheel drive versions in the home market, by 27 forces. The youngest – a one and a half liter turbo engine with 184 horsepower, which was offered to the Chinese only for front-wheel drive versions – remains unchanged. Recall that Haval Dargo (from 2,999,000 million rubles) in Russia is sold exclusively with a 2-liter engine with 192 horsepower. Chinese sales of new items are about to start, but how quickly the changes will come for Russian models is not yet very clear.
