The report indicates that the company suspected that the CEO himself diverted money from the company to build a glass house next to the Gigafactory in Austin. Still The results of the investigation were not made public. and Elon Musk has not commented on the matter.
Sources connected to The Wall Street Journal indicate that “Project 42” (the name of the proposed home) involves the purchase of millions of dollars of special glass in 2022. The publication indicates that the movement was so large-scale that it aroused suspicion on the part of employees. The portal indicates that the glass will be used to build the house, as it was supposed to have bedrooms, bathrooms and a kitchen.
Elon Musk being investigated by Tesla?
For now Tesla has not officially confirmed the investigation into the CEO himself. When asked by The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk also did not comment. We do not know the accuracy of the information and how true the material published by The Wall Street Journal is, but sources confirm the existence of an investigation. Anyway, even if you are under investigation, it does not mean that you embezzled money from the company.
