Omoda S5 in the GT version will differ in appearance from the regular version due to a different design of the grille, optics and rims. As for the interior, there are more changes in the cabin: including contrasting orange stitching, a new multimedia system, a steering wheel with an Omoda nameplate, and not Chery, like a simple “five”.
But the technical characteristics of new items are still in question. In China, this car (where it is called the Chery Arrizo 5 GT) is offered with a 1.6-liter turbo engine and a seven-speed “robot”. Most likely, the same units will go to the “Russian” sedan.
We add that while the Omoda S5 is sold in our country in two versions: with a 113 hp aspirated 1.5-liter and a 1.5-liter supercharged engine with 147 forces. Both engines are joined by CVTs, the drivetrain is front-wheel drive.
A simpler version can be purchased at a price of 2,249,900 rubles (excluding special offers), and an older version – from 2,359,900 rubles.
