During the seven months of this year, using photo and video recording systems and live traffic police officers, more than 1.9 million acts of traffic violations under art. 12.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses – “Violation of the rules for the use of seat belts or helmets.” It implies a fine of 1000 ₽ fine. In addition, drivers have used the phone while driving more than 677,000 times since the start of the year without using hands-free, according to police. Citizens caught in this occupation receive under art. 12.36.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“Violation of the rules for using a phone by a vehicle driver”) fines of 1500 ₽
