A new generation full-size SUV Infiniti QX80 should appear next year. Marketers are already preparing the public for this event. We decided to start with the QX Monograph concept, which can be used to judge the appearance of the future novelty.
Looking at the photo, we can assume that for the first time in the history of the brand, the QX80 will receive a three-dimensional emblem, which will also be marked. Apparently, the Japanese want to do something in the style of BMW’s famous “nostrils”. The radiator grille is also striking: it retains its traditional shape, but the pattern changes.
Main optics was divided into two levels. Top – LED running lights and the headlights are located on the corners of the bumper. The pioneers of this solution were the Koreans with their Hyundai Santa Fe. However, the Japanese can improve the design. The fact is that air intakes are visible nearby. They must distribute the airflow effectively, that is, the headlights are not covered with mud in bad weather.
As for the body, it has become more angular. This makes the concept look more massive than the current generation of the model. There is no technical information yet. We really hope that the usual engines remain within the range of power units of the novelty.
Recall that the current Infiniti QX80 was shown in 2010 under the name QX56. Since then, the brand’s flagship has undergone two restylings in 2015 and 2018. In other words, change has been long overdue.
