Outwardly, the car seems, of course, rich. It added size over the outgoing model and received Matrix LED headlights. LEDs can illuminate the road up to 500 meters away. And they also change the light beam depending on the situation on the track. However, the optics are less technologically advanced than those of the Touareg SUV.
In the cabin, all physical buttons have been removed. The functionality is now concentrated on the central touchscreen with a diagonal of 12.9 or 15 inches. It depends on the configuration. Below that is another touch panel for operating the climate system.
The main advantage of the car is the trunk. At the moment, it is known that the usable volume under the curtain has grown from 650 to 690 liters, and with the rear row folded – from 1780 to 1920 liters. There seems to be enough space for the third row of seats, although this arrangement is not provided.
As for the engines, buyers are offered a range of turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. They will all be electrified in one way or another. That is, you can choose both a “soft” hybrid and a full-fledged rechargeable battery.
