According to unofficial information, the new Valdai are models of the Chinese Foton. At the moment they are produced with a minimum degree of localization – by means of a “screwdriver”. However, it is planned to organize a full production cycle next year, including welding and body painting. There is no information about the “Russification” of the assembly of power units (engine, gearbox, bridges) for Valdaev.
