At the Innoprom-2023 fair, Dongfeng Motors RUS and Motorinvest announced that the latter received the rights to distribute Dongfeng cars in Russia. As a result of the agreements, the seven-seat crossover Dongfeng 580 will soon appear in showrooms and take the place of the flagship of the line in our country.
The Dongfeng 580 is 4680 mm long, 1845 mm wide and 1715 mm high. That is, it is slightly longer than the latest generation Toyota RAV4. Also interesting is that there are three rows of seats in the cabin. This is a rather rare option in this class of cars – only the Mitsubishi Outlander could boast of it.
Under the hood of the novelty is a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 145 horsepower. Of. A variator is attached to the pair, and the drive is located only at the front.
There is only one package: luxury. It includes a surround view camera system, tire pressure monitoring, parking sensors, an electric sunroof, climate control, 9-inch multimedia, front and side airbags, ABS and ESP. Prices and launch dates have not yet been announced.
Recall that the Dongfeng model range in Russia now consists of the Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max sedan and the four-wheel drive Dongfeng DF6 pickup.
