This week, the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant opened sales of the Kaiyi X3, and now it’s the turn of a more advanced version of the model: a crossover with the Pro nameplate. It turns out that the cars are already arriving in dealer showrooms. The latter will start accepting orders for the new product in the very near future.
As Renat Tyukteev, General Manager for New Car Sales at Avilon AG, told our colleagues from Rossiyskaya Gazeta, dealers received a limited number of Kaiyi X3 Pro crossovers to demonstrate to potential buyers. At the same time, he also revealed the recommended retail price of the SUV – from 2,490,000 rubles.
The new product will be offered in a single modification – with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 147 horsepower. s., CVT and front-wheel drive. You also cannot choose a package: there is only one Luxury version. It includes a heated multifunction steering wheel, a 7-inch instrument display, a panoramic roof, all-round visibility, cruise, keyless entry, wireless smartphone charging, a 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia complex and a number of electronic assistants.
Let us remind you that today the Kaiyi product line in Russia includes two models: the E5 sedan and the X3 crossover. For the first, dealers ask from 2,115,000 rubles, for the second – from 2,117,650. After the X3 Pro goes on sale, Kaliningraders will focus on the launch of the flagship X7 Kunlun. It should hit the market before the end of 2023.
