As AVTOVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said in an interview with RIA Novosti, the Allur Group has proven over the years to be a reliable technology partner, and Kazakhstan is one of the strategic directions for the development of LADA exports.
— On the eve of the forum, we held meetings and negotiations not only with our partners, but also with representatives of the leadership of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They confirmed their intentions. And we have sought the government’s support in adapting the regulatory framework necessary for the successful resumption of this cooperation,” the top executive said about plans to resume the meeting in Saryarkaavtoprom.
According to Sokolov, AVTOVAZ expects that if the necessary regulations are adopted “soon enough,” production will resume next year. But it is still too early to talk about volumes – everything depends on “the timing of the recovery and the market situation in the Kazakhstani market at the time the decision is made.”
Let us remind you that the production of LADA cars at the Saryarkaavtoprom plant was suspended last year – models of the Granta, Niva and Vesta families were assembled on site.
