As Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports with reference to the BAIC press service, some Russian dealers have already received the first customer copies of the X55 crossover. In October, the new product should appear in all BAIC showrooms – the cars are already on their way to Russia. The dimensions of the X55 are 4620 x 1886 x 1680 mm, the ground clearance at full load is 180 mm, the manufacturer reports.
Under the hood of the crossover is a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a power of 177 hp. Of. and a “robot” with 7 gears and two clutches. Drive is front-wheel drive only. The first row seats are heated, ventilated and have power lumbar support. The instrument cluster is a 10.1-inch screen, while the center console houses a 10.25-inch display.
The X55 has become the fourth model in the Russian brand line, which consists of the X35 crossover, U5 Plus sedan and BJ40 Plus SUV. The model range will soon be expanded with the X75 crossover, the BJ60 SUV and an electric car based on the U5 Plus.
