The authorities have found a way to produce cars in a serious crisis

After the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, the car industry faced a new set of problems. Where previously the rhythmic work of pipelines was mainly hampered by the global shortage of microchips, the problem is now exacerbated by logistical problems and sanction restrictions.

However, the Russian authorities seem to have found a way to remedy the infamous shortage of electronic components. According to the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, until the end of this, domestic cars are being transferred to unified parts.

Details will follow later, but apparently in our country they want to start production of sensors, actuators and control units that would be suitable for various models – from Grants and Vesta to Gazelle and Patriot.

Electronics manufacturers will receive preferential loans, reimbursement for part of the costs and the launch of a special program that will help companies more actively control the production of products needed by the auto industry.

And another tidbit about import substitution. The Renault factory, which has come under state control, is also the former AZLK factory and plans to produce cars under the Moskvich brand. Portal “AvtoVzglyad” studied the possible prospects for future models.
